Melcom Homes, Calgary's premier builder of energy-efficient homes, closed out the 2022 Calgary Stampede with a bang on July 17th. The company hosted its first annual Stampede Razzmatazz, a business-sponsored festivity that focused on food, fun, and community outreach.

More than 450 attendees, including media personalities and Alberta Ministers Prasad Panda and Mike Ellis, along with former Minister of Children's Services Rebecca Schulz, gathered at Melcom Homes' head office on the final day of the Calgary Stampede. The celebration marked an elaborate cap-off to the annual 10-day rodeo and carnival.

Minister Prasad Panda took the time to visit Melcom Homes, chat with the team, and show his support. The event provided a great opportunity to listen to him speak as the attendees celebrated the greatest outdoor show on earth, the Calgary Stampede.

Melcom Homes pulled out all the stops for their Calgary Stampede debut, offering games, face painting, a petting zoo, live entertainment, a 360-degree photo booth, and big-ticket raffle prizes like a robot vacuum and an Apple Watch. All proceeds from the raffle will go toward the Melcom Homes Back-to-School Scholarship Fund. The company also enlisted the culinary talents of local barbecue pros BubbaQ and Chef Nate from Nettson Catering, who oversaw all the onsite grilling.

The Stampede Razzmatazz served as a perfect ending to the Calgary Stampede, bringing together the community, local businesses, and government officials to celebrate the spirit of the city. Melcom Homes' commitment to community outreach and support through initiatives like the Back-to-School Scholarship Fund is commendable, and we look forward to seeing what they have in store for next year's Stampede.
