Melcom Homes, a home building company based in Alberta, celebrated Heritage Day as a team with individuals from their community. The event was an intimate gathering hosted by Melcom Homes to acknowledge that the territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. The company also took the opportunity to acknowledge and honour all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work, and play on this land.

Schulz, who is currently running for the Leader of the United Conservative Party of Alberta, opened the floor for conversation within the community, addressing questions, and concerns that Albertans have.
